Most smartwatches estimate blood pressure using an optical sensor (PPG) — a method known for limited accuracy. The WATCH D2 is fundamentally different: inside the strap sits a 26.5 mm inflatable airbag that physically inflates around your wrist, driven by a micro pump and read by a high-precision pressure sensor. That's genuine oscillometric measurement — the same principle as the cuff at your doctor's office. A reading completes in under a minute.
This is the capability no other smartwatch offers:
Why does this matter? Clinic readings are distorted by the white-coat effect, and one or two home readings miss overnight spikes entirely. ABPM is the gold standard clinically recommended for accurate hypertension assessment — and until now it required a bulky Holter device strapped to your belt for a full day.
An electrocardiogram reading in 30 seconds, with analysis flagging signs of irregular heart rhythm and atrial fibrillation (AF).
The One-click Micro Health Check generates a single report covering 13 health indicators including: blood pressure · heart rate · blood oxygen · pulse wave analysis · sleep apnoea detection · high blood glucose risk assessment · and more.
A device containing an air pump, a pressure sensor, and an inflatable bladder measures 13.3 mm thick at 40 g. Compared with a palm-sized Holter monitor clipped to your belt, the difference is enormous. You can wear this to work and to meetings and nobody will register it as a medical device — and the black finish reinforces that, reading as an ordinary formal watch.
A large AMOLED panel at 480 × 408 and 347 ppi — readings and charts are clear without straining your eyes, which matters especially for older users. A built-in speaker and microphone let you answer calls from the watch, and over 80 workout modes are backed by advanced GNSS positioning.
The battery lasts several days in normal use and covers a full day with an ABPM plan running. Charging is wireless. The strap comes in M (130–160 mm) and L (161–210 mm) sizes with a Quick Release button.
Extended protection covering accidental damage for six months. (Plan terms apply; confirm activation details when ordering.)
